Wills
Bequests from wills have been a valued source of income to LPMA for many years and we anticipate that many people still alive will have remembered the Association in their will. If their wills are left unchanged, their bequests will reach LWPT but they will only be able to be used for the limited purposes of the former LPMA.
If readers wish to give full discretion to the Trustees of LWPT to use their bequests for its more broadly defined purposes, they are invited to effect a codicil to their wills using the form of words shown in the box below. If readers need any clarification as to how to deal with the options or deletions in the square brackets, please contact the LWPT Office in confidence. When you have signed the codicil and had it witnessed, please:

Codicil Wording:
I [name and address] DECLARE this to be a [First] Codicil to my last Will dated [ ] (the "Will")
The Will shall be construed to take effect as if in clause [ ] the name [and address] of The Methodist Local Preachers Mutual Aid Association was [were] omitted and replaced by "The Leaders of Worship and Preachers Trust (with registered charity number 1107967)".
